Oranga School Hall is a versatile community venue available for hire for meetings, performances, cultural events, fitness classes, celebrations, and other community activities. Located in the heart of Oranga, our modern hall provides a welcoming space with convenient off-street parking available on Maroa Road.

 

Hall Availability

• Weekdays: 6.30pm – 10.00pm

• Weekends: 8.00am – 10.30pm

Please note that hire times include both set-up and pack-down, so all events must conclude in time for cleaning and departure.

 

Hire Charges

• $40 + GST per hour (minimum 2-hour hire)

• $50 non-refundable deposit required to secure your booking

• $300 refundable bond payable two weeks prior to your event, along with the full hire fee

The bond will be refunded by internet banking following the hire period, provided the hall is left clean and tidy, no damage has occurred, and all keys have been returned.

Important Information

To help us maintain our facilities for future users:

• Hirers are responsible for leaving the hall and surrounding grounds clean and tidy.

• Additional cleaning may incur a charge of $40 per half hour.

• No bouncy castles or large inflatable structures are permitted inside the hall.

• Decorations must not be attached to walls, doors, ceilings, windows, or other surfaces. Decorations may be attached only to the wires located beside the windows.

• The school sound system, data projector, and stage curtains are not available for hire or use.

• Storage facilities are not available.

• Hirers are responsible for any security or fire alarm callout costs, including failure to set the alarm by 10.15pm.
