Walking School Bus
Walking school buses are free, healthy and a fun way to travel to or from school. Why not sign your child up today? Parents fill in a consent form (available from the office) and children sign an agreement to follow the walking school bus rules and that’s it! Children love it and it’s a great way to make friends too.
Our parent volunteers do a fabulous job of running our walking school buses but we can always do with more help. We would love to run five days a week and have more buses operating. If you have 45 minutes on a morning or afternoon each week and would like to assist with one of our walking school buses we’d love to hear from you.

Our Buses
Previously we have had the following walking school buses: Orangasaurus, Epic Walkers, Waitangi Walkers, Waitangi Afternoon Walkers, but at the moment, the only one operating is our Orangasaurus bus.
The Orangasauras bus leaves from the corner of Tawa Road and Rawhiti Road at 8:15am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
If you are interested in helping us out so that we can run the bus 5 days a week, or reinstate the other bus routes, please let us know.
