The Oranga School Board is responsible for the governance of the school. Working alongside the Principal, the Board helps ensure our school provides a safe, high-quality learning environment where every student can succeed.

The Board's key responsibilities include:

• Setting the school's strategic direction and goals.

• Monitoring student achievement and wellbeing.

• Overseeing the school's finances, property, and resources.

• Employing and supporting the Principal.

• Ensuring the school meets its legal and ethical responsibilities.

While the Board focuses on the overall direction and governance of the school, the Principal is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the school.

The Board is made up of elected parent representatives, the Principal, and a staff representative. Parent representatives are elected by the school community every three years.
